The Lost & Found

Have you ever heard of gloves at first sight? When you fall for the most beautiful, comfortable, coolest pair. Be it on an undeserving dummy display in a shop window or a pair of gems tossed amongst a pile of mediocre or even by setting your eyes on their picture that you knew you just had to hunt them down until you get your hands in them?
Well I have. Twice. And I was left heart broken because I did the most silly thing and lose one of them.

For days I searched the street floors hoping to be reunited with my lost glove. It carried on for a few weeks trying hard to recount back my steps, remembering the route and every corner I took. Blaming myself for being so inattentive. Where, when and how I kept asking! Every time I see a hand shape figure on the floor I would jump with excitement but it never was the one. I knew that somewhere it laid there seen by many but ignored and only I was thinking of them and longing to hold them again.
My glove was lost and had nowhere to go so I decide to set up a glove rescue centre. The idea behind it is for those lost gloves to find their way home to be reunited with their other half. This will be a place for them to be temporarily accommodated and a chance for them to have a new life and meaning. It beats being on the streets, forgotten and to disappear completely without a trace. Along my travels I will rescue lost gloves and place them up here.

Welcome to The Lost and Found Glove centre. A place for gloves to be reunited with each other and their wearers.
If you think any of these are yours please contact us with the subject title Found and the Reference Code i.e. "Found: G-001-12" to gloverescuer@ymail.com stating the glove/gloves you are wanting to reunite with, we can then arrange a way for their safe return.

The centre is currently looking for volunteers so please get in contact on gloverescuer@ymail.com. Should you wish to forward us any lost gloves please use the Subject title "Lost" provide us a clear photo and as much information as possible of the place, time and date of rescue.
